GTA VI may already have its first true business mogul.
His name is Boobie Ike, and while protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos naturally receive most of the attention, Boobie could become one of GTA VI’s most interesting characters for players interested in money, business and the economy of Vice City.
According to Rockstar Games, Boobie transformed his past in the streets into a legitimate business empire spanning real estate, nightlife and music. From property holdings to the Jack of Hearts strip club and his involvement with Only Raw Records, Boobie gives us an intriguing early look at how business and wealth are represented in GTA VI.
Boobie Ike is a Vice City businessman-
known in the streets as a Vice City Legend!

Who Is Boobie Ike in GTA VI?
Boobie Ike is a Vice City businessman whom Rockstar describes as a local legend.
What makes Boobie particularly interesting isn’t simply that he’s wealthy.
It’s how he built his wealth.
According to Rockstar, Boobie turned his past in the streets into a legitimate empire that includes real estate, a strip club and a recording studio.
That means Rockstar isn’t presenting him simply as another rich GTA character.
Boobie appears to be a diversified entrepreneur with interests across multiple industries.
For anyone interested in GTA VI’s potential economy, that’s worth paying attention to.
Boobie Ike’s Real Estate Empire
The first part of Boobie’s business portfolio is particularly interesting from my perspective:
Real estate.
Rockstar specifically identifies real estate as part of Boobie Ike’s legitimate empire.
What Rockstar has not told us yet is equally important.
We don’t currently know the full extent of Boobie’s property portfolio, what kinds of real estate he owns or how those properties might function within GTA VI.
And we certainly shouldn’t assume Boobie’s ownership means players themselves will automatically have access to a sophisticated real-estate investment system.
But as a real-world real-estate broker, the inclusion immediately caught my attention.
If Rockstar has created characters whose wealth is represented through portfolios of properties and businesses, it raises some interesting questions about just how deeply GTA VI will portray Vice City’s economy.
Boobie Ike Owns the Jack of Hearts
Real estate isn’t Boobie’s only business.
He’s also involved in Vice City’s nightlife through the Jack of Hearts, a strip club connected to his empire.
This gives Boobie exposure to an entirely different industry.
But what’s particularly interesting is that his nightlife operation doesn’t necessarily exist independently from his other interests.
There’s another piece of Boobie’s empire:
Music.
And that’s where Dre’Quan Priest enters the picture.
Only Raw Records and Dre’Quan Priest
Dre’Quan Priest is an aspiring music mogul trying to establish himself in Vice City’s entertainment industry.
His ambitions eventually led him toward the music business and Only Raw Records.
Rockstar has established a connection between Dre’Quan and Boobie, with Boobie particularly invested in their partnership and the success of the record label.
That gives us a fascinating business structure surrounding the character.
Boobie’s empire touches:
Real Estate → Nightlife → Music & Entertainment
Those businesses could potentially complement one another.
A nightlife venue connects to entertainment.
Entertainment connects to artists.
Artists connect to a record label.
And the physical businesses themselves connect back to real estate.
That’s starting to look less like one successful business and more like an ecosystem.
Boobie Ike Could Be GTA VI’s First Business Mogul
That’s what makes Boobie more interesting from an entrepreneurial perspective.
Diversification is a common strategy for building wealth in the real world.
Instead of depending entirely on one income source, an entrepreneur might own operating businesses while simultaneously acquiring real estate and investing in complementary industries.
Boobie’s known interests appear to follow a similar pattern.
Real estate provides assets.
Nightlife provides an operating business.
Music provides exposure to entertainment and intellectual property.
We don’t yet know enough about GTA VI to determine exactly how profitable these businesses are or how they interact economically.
But from a storytelling perspective, Rockstar has clearly established Boobie as more than someone with money.
He’s someone who built an empire.
What Boobie Ike Could Tell Us About GTA VI’s Economy
This is where Boobie becomes particularly important to watch.
His businesses demonstrate that Rockstar has created an environment where characters can accumulate wealth through multiple industries.
But there’s a critical distinction:
That does not confirm that players will be able to do the same thing.
We still have major unanswered questions about GTA VI’s player-facing economy.
Can players purchase businesses?
Can we acquire investment properties?
Can we generate recurring income?
Can we own multiple companies?
Can businesses appreciate or expand?
Can we build an investment portfolio?
How sophisticated will the game’s money-management systems actually be?
Rockstar hasn’t given us authoritative answers to all of those questions yet.
So Boobie Ike’s empire should be viewed as evidence of how Rockstar is building the world and its characters, not confirmation of specific player mechanics.
Can You Build a Business Empire in GTA VI?
That’s the question I’m ultimately most interested in answering.
I’m an entrepreneur and real-estate broker in real life, so I’m going to approach GTA VI somewhat differently from the average player.
While other players are searching for the fastest cars, best weapons and biggest explosions, I’ll also be asking:
How does money actually work in Vice City?
I want to understand the businesses.
The properties.
The investments.
The neighborhoods.
The luxury economy.
The opportunities to generate income.
And ultimately:
Can a player build a genuine business empire?
Characters like Boobie Ike are one reason the economic side of GTA VI has so much potential.
The $100 Million Vice City Empire Challenge
Once GTA VI launches, we’re going to put that question to the test.
The goal is simple:
Start with nothing and attempt to build a $100 million Vice City empire.
The important part is that the strategy will be based on the systems Rockstar actually gives us.
If GTA VI allows meaningful business ownership, we’ll investigate it.
If property investment is possible, we’ll analyze it.
If there are legitimate ways to compound money through businesses, investments or other assets, we’ll find them.
And if those systems don’t exist, we’re not going to pretend they do.
Boobie Ike already shows us what a successful Vice City entrepreneur looks like.
The next question is whether Rockstar will give players enough economic freedom to compete with him.
How rich can you actually become in Vice City?
That’s exactly what we’re going to find out.
